The roots of Dr. Klaus Karg KG lie in Wolkersdorf in Franconia in the 1950 founded village bakery. In 2000, the bakery started producing and selling delicious crispbread specialties under the leadership of CEO Dr. Klaus Karg. Thanks to selected ingredients, creative recipes and its unique, light consistency, Dr. Karg’s crunchy delights has become popular nationally and internationally.
Our current product range includes not only delightfully crunchy wholegrain crispbread but also convenient little wholegrain snacks and our new Crunchy Bites oven baked snacks. We produce all our products in organic as well as non-organic quality.

If we want to snack, it should be of organic quality, crunchy, varied, and simply delicious. Inspired by the love for the mountains, nature, and the long-standing bakery tradition, the product concept for the new Dr. Karg’s Crunchy Bites was born.
Just like all the other specialties produced by the family-owned business based in Schwabach, Crunchy Bites are made exclusively with wholegrain flour, wholesome grains, a bit of olive oil, and other best organic ingredients. The dough is then formed into the typical Crunchy Bites shape and baked slowly in an original baker’s oven.
Whether as a wholesome alternative to crisps and Co., as a crunchy delight with wine and beer, on their own or with a dip: Crunchy Bites always bring the crunch. The oven baked snacks are available in 3 organic and 3 non-organic varieties.
For all those who would like to cut down on carbohydrates in their diet, Dr. Karg’s has a new protein crispbread with an extra portion of protein, lots of grains and seeds, and, of course, intense flavour. Chopped pumpkin seeds and lots of other seeds give the extra thin and extra crunchy slices their hearty and nutty flavour.
With 34 g of protein per 100 g, the “lower carb” crispbread slice is a natural source of protein and thus contributes to the body’s protein level, which is especially important for active people. With 34 % fewer carbohydrates (compared to Dr. Karg’s Classic 3-Seed) and lots of flavour, the new crunchy slices can be enjoyed pure or with toppings as a natural, low-in-carbohydrates snack at the office, for breakfast or dinner.
They are also the perfect, long-life alternative to fresh protein bread. An additional tray protects the extra thin slices in their lovingly-designed 150 g packaging.
