About us
Milk & Whey Ingredients by Sachsenmilch (MWI) is part of the Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller and has extensive knowhow in all areas of milk processing.
MWI’s core business is the production of high-quality milk and whey ingredients. Skimmed milk and whey from the plant’s own cheese dairies are directly fractionated into the various components.
We use state-of-the-art membrane technology to gently process it into high-quality whey proteins, milk proteins, lactose and natural milk calcium.

Our milk and whey ingredients refine and improve products all over the world: from infant and sports nutrition to dairy, food and special health care products. The product portfolio includes WPC80, WPI and MCC80, each in standard and instant quality.
All products meet the quality standards of FSSC 22000 and are available in Kosher and Halal. With an annual milk intake of more than 1.7 billion kilograms, the Leppersdorf plant is the single largest dairy plant in Europe.
