About us
The story of Maintal Konfitueren's sweet success began in 1886. We are a family-owned company run by the 4th generation.
We draw on our experience to produce jams, jellies and fruit spreads from the best nature has to offer. We offer a wide range of fruit spreads in conventional and organic quality filled in jars and buckets specially for the HoReCa sector.
We offer also a 'non-sugar-added' organic fruit spread line as well as pure organic purees with 100% fruit and a conventional assortment with reduced sugar content.
All our products are suitable for a vegan diet and are Halal certified. Since 2006 we are IFS certified and since June 2024 we carry version 8.0 Doctrine.
We have a high interest in entering new markets and establishing long-lasting business relationships.

Rosehip preserve extra
Our rosehip preserve is produced in accordance with an old family recipe and Maintal is the market leader in Germany for this speciality with almost 60% market share. Its secret is hidden in its originality. It has remained a wild fruit to this day, and is collected by hand from hedges or bushes in the age-old tradition. The sun-ripened rosehips are picked by hand and are deep-frozen immediately following harvesting. They are processed in our family company with great care and dedication.
Organic fruit spreads with an alternative sweetener
For our five new fruit spreads we use a blend of wheat syrup and apple juice instead of organic sugar. Blueberry, rosehip, orange, strawberry and raspberry with up to 65% fruit content are the favourites of our international customers and now available. Apple and fig have been added to the product range this year

With this range of fruit spreads we offer a healthier choice to all our consumers who value a sugar-reduced diet and a good taste. We reduced the sugar content by up to 43 % in comparison with our standard products. With these 5 selected varieties with 65% fruit content we bring the taste of sun blessed fruit and berries on your breakfast table.
Fruit spreads with 80% fruit
This assortment scores with a very high fruit content - 80% fruit in each jar mean unforgettable taste experience. With love and passion we produce these extraordinary fruit spreads on highest quality level. From harvest to the finished product - our products are processed with great care and attention without any kind of preservatives, colourings and artificial flavors.
Buckets - food service
With our wide range of products, we’ve got a jam to suit everyone’s taste. For the breakfast buffet in hotels or as a filling for bakers, pastry-makers or other food-processing sectors. Our range is available in resealable tubs in different sizes. In addition to seasonal specialities, you can choose between classic jams, organic jams or smooth spreads.
